Thelma Parodi for the joy of being in worship; for the many good things happening in her life, including her aide, Carolina, receiving her US citizenship and daughter-in-law, Amy’s selection as one of the top 10 women in America from the organization, Emerge

For Gregory whose car was hit (while parked near his apartment) and was totaled.

Jennifer Morales for her mother in TX who is recovering from open heart surgery

For Gavin Grimm and others working for justice for transgendered people

Lois Ville for her brother-in-law, LeRoy, anticipating 3 surgeries; for Paul and Sachiko at home recovering from pneumonia

Jane Chin for a great trip to India and Dubai with concern for the effects of poverty that they saw and gratitude for their Muslim tour guide in Dubai who shared wisdom and insight about the Muslim faith and what it meant for him to be a practicing Muslim (NOT a terrorist)

Betsy Anderson for her friend, Suree, who lives in a poor area of Bangkok where there was a devastating fire this week that destroyed at least 30 homes; for all those affected and all who are living in poverty with at least 30 deaths
